I stayed for one night and found my room clean and spacious, but the air conditioner filter was filthy. I appreciated the comfy beds and free breakfast, which were nice touches!

Proximity to Custer National Park and other local attractions
The room we stayed in was seperated by a major road from the office and breakfast area. The breakfast area is tiny and breakfast was limited, baked beans (Scottish Style!!) and chocolate biscuits. Motel is very basic, don't expect any extras such as laundry, vending machines, pool etc.

The Queen Room with Two Queen Beds was spacious and clean. The service from the front desk was friendly and helpful. The only downside was the need for newer pillows.

The location in Hot Springs was very good for getting around town.
The overwhelming smell of curry in the front desk area. In fact, the smell was so strong that we could not bear to stay for breakfast even though it was free. Come to think of it, the breakfast was pretty disappointing as well - a few donuts and muffins, that's all.

A good surprise in Hot Springs
The warm greetings from the owners made us feel right at home, and exploring the nearby Black Hills was a joy.
The air conditioning filter was quite dirty, which surprised me .

Staff were very accommodating, gave me an extra pillow. Gave a lovely gift of a t-shirt and two wallets with the information about the Inn, very nice gesture. I really liked that they had late office hours for we came in late each night. Great location for touring through the national park close by. We were on bikes and it was a great location for bike touring.
Was worried about the location being on the corner and the noise, but actually it was quite easy to sleep with no disruption of vehicle noise.
